VP & General Manager of Global Comms
Santa Clara, USA
A recent Reputation Institute survey found that Intel has the sixth best corporate reputation in the US—an even more impressive accomplishment when you consider that almost all of the other top 10 companies sell their products directly to the consumer, while Intel’s products are almost always “ingredients” in other companies’ products. As vice president and general manager of Intel’s global communications group, technology public relations veteran Paul Bergevin is responsible for the company’s reputation, leading corporate and product communications worldwide.
Bergevin joined Intel in 2007, having previously served as president of Silicon Valley-based Citigate Cunningham for five years. Earlier, he had been vice president of corporate marketing at Certive Corporation, a startup delivering a hosted practice management system to independent professional service firms; leader of Edelman’s global technology practice; and director of public relations at IBM, working on the launch of the ThinkPad and Aptiva brands.
